Kim Hyun Joong’s 1st Solo Album Exceeds 70,000 Pre-orders

Kim Hyun Joong’s first mini-album “Break Down” sold more than 70,000 copies in just 10 days since pre-orders began on May 20.

The achievement is remarkable, given that it is rare for an album to sell 100,000 copies amid the diminishing album sales in the music industry these days.

The leader of SS501 worked on his first solo album for more than a year with world-renowned producers. The number of pre-orders is expected to continue to grow until it is released on June 8.

The singer will start promoting the album with a showcase with some 4,000 fans on June 7.
