4minute Is Tired Of Japan, Set To Make A K-pop Comeback At The End Of The Month
After forgetting how old they are and getting dissed on a Japanese TV show it seems 4miniute is done with Japan (at least for now)
6 months after releasing their last mini album “Hit Your Heart” 4minute is ready for a K-pop comeback
It is not clear what the title of the album will be but regardless the girl’s could certainly use a welcoming party after the hard work they have done in Japan promoting their music since early May.
But yet despite their hard and the fact they released an original single their latest single FIRST/DREAMS COME TRUE BOMBED the charts, charting at no.28 on the Oricon Weekly Chart their lowest charting single to date.
Guess Japan just isn’t warming up to the muizk :/
4Minute Gets Humiliated On A Japanese TV Show
4minute recently appeared as guests on the Japanese show NTV PON this week where they went to promote their new J-pop single First/Dreams Come True, instead though the girls were humiliated and ignored by the hosts
The girls only received about 10 minutes of airtime during the whole show and rather than engaging with the hosts they were pushed to the back of the room where the hosts paid no attention to them. In the end the girl’s ended up really not doing anything except watching as the hosts cooked.
Netizens released their anger and frustration towards the show writing
“Just come back here in Korea and we’ll give you more love here.”
“Is this the proper treatment that idols with more than 2000 fans should receive?”
“They cut off the music in the middle of the dance to cook.”

Fugitive OST To Be Released Next Friday!
Well they sure don’t waste anytime!
Korea’s king of pop Rain recently returned to the small screen in the spy-action drama The Fugitive Plan B (a.k.a. Runaway Plan B), his first TV series in five years. Rain and Lee Na Young, herself making a TV comeback after six years, play competing operatives who cross paths on the hunt. They hide their true motives from each other, but budding romance puts an unexpected dent in their respective missions. From the director and screenwriter of Chuno, the highly anticipated globe-trotting drama co-stars Daniel Henney, Lee Jung Jin, Yoon Jin Seo, Uehara Takako, and Takenaka Naoto.
Rain didn’t participate in the soundtrack for Fugitive Plan B, but his proteges MBLAQ did. The popular boy band’s energetic theme song RUNNING&RUNNING matches the drama’s action-packed pace. Shin Seung Hun sings Rain’s character ballad theme “Do Not Believe in Love”, while Brown Eye Girls member Jea takes care of the heroine’s theme Poison. Hot girl group 4Minute and newcomer ORAN-G also contributed songs to the soundtrack.

Two idol groups from management company Cube Entertainment are taking the continent by storm.
Sexy girl group 4Minute and fierce idol group BEAST have both gained the ‘Asia Influential Artist’ Award to be received at the 2010 Asia Song Festival.
The Asia Song Festival is one of the most famous Asian pop music festivals. This year, the event will be held on October 23rd at the Seoul Olympic Stadium.
Popular artists such as Rain, BoA, KARA, and 2AM will appear as guests. Japanese girl group AKB48 and Taiwanese actor Joe Cheng will also be attending the said festival. (more…)

4minute’s manager has garnered a hot interest thanks to a series of recent selcas, with netizens dubbing him “fanboy manager.”
On the 5th on 4minute’s official fancafe, seclas featuring 4minute’s manager stirred netizens into a frenzy. Together with HyunA, Gayoon and others, their manager was featured in the photos taken of the company family and published online.
Of particular interest to netizens were his large eyebrows and pronounced facial features, as noted in the many comments left all over the Internet. A hot response was felt through their comments about the sensual and stunning manager, Kim Jiyong.

Well this is a great idea!
As it is known 4Minute, KARA and Girls’ Generation are currently busy making their promotions in Japan. And with that, the three girl groups will make their appearance at SBS E! TV in topic Star Girl Groups Q10 in Japan-Wave. It will reveal the three girl groups’ activities at there.
The show will also ask the viewers 3 questions about the girl groups’ promotions in Japan which are the things that we do not know.

4minute Gets Heat Over Their Official Color, Set To Change It
After it was revealed that 4minute’s official color would be Pearl Purple. Recently, SES fans, due to the clash in colour with their very own SES fanclub colour, had a discussion with Cube. In fear of arousing troubles after seeing pearl purple on use on broadcast, Cube has decided to change the official fan colour.
The new colour will supposedly bring about 4Minute’s unique tagline “best boda only” which refers to 4Minute being the “only” instead of “best”
The new colour will be announced before the Gyeongju Hanryu Dream Festival (12th September).

Rival Group KARA & 4minute Show Off Their Close Relationship
Representative idol girlgroups KARA and 4Minute show off their close friendship.
The 2 groups were guest appearances on MBC youth variety show ‘Flower Bouquet’ aired on 5th September. On the show that day, the MCs asked 4Minute if they see KARA as their rivals since recently KARA has also joined the Kpop stars in their debut in the Japanese music scene. 4Minute youngest member SoHyun said, “We even went to eat ddeobboki with KARA. We frequent the ddeobboki village with KARA.”
HyunA also added, “Even though we advanced into the Japanese music scene first, but seeing KARA become famous in the Japanese music scene makes us happt too.”
Meanwhile, on the show, the 2 groups have a little showdown of their Japanese language which they are picking up for their Japanese promotions.

HyunAh’s Legs Bounce To the Music Even While Crying
4minute’s HyunAh explained how she opened her eyes because of dancing.
On the 24th of the broadcast of SBS’s ‘Strong Heart’, HyunAh revealed, “When I was 10 years old, I followed my father to Daehangno and after watching the Bboy oppas dance, I thought This is mine.”
HyunAh added, “Regardless of my age, I pestered my parents and got into a dance school. After that, I always practiced dancing for 3 to 4 years.”
Also, she said, “In the 7th grade of middle school, I completely let go of the pen (metaphor for ‘giving up on school’). I hated studying at that time, and I thought that I would change the world with my dancing.”
HyunAh revealed, “After listening to my parents’ harsh rebukes, I told them that I would quit everything with an attitude of defiance. But, truthfully, I only thought about wanting to stand on stage.”
Also, she confessed, “After getting scolded at, I went to my room and turned on the music. But, even though I was crying, my legs kept bouncing and matching the rhythm to Beyonce’s ‘Crazy In Love’. That made me laugh.”
On this day, HyunAh even cried tears as she said, “I didn’t even get the opportunity to say thank you to my parents.”

4minute’s Big Performance At Mnet 20′s Choice Awards Is Anticipated By Male Fans

ly had a trend of having girl groups, 4minute (who came out as the best girl group in the first half of the year) will have a performance on August 26th at the Mnet 20′s Choice Awards.
Although men and women of all ages like 4minute, they are popular for receiving complete support from men in their 20′s due to their sexiness and maturity.
Since now, although they had various activities with their hit songs ‘Hot Issue’, ‘Muzik’, ‘Huh’, and ‘I My Me Mine’, it is expected that this will be their first performance at the Mnet 20′s Choice Awards.
Mnet’s production crew said, “Although 4minute recently swept high rankings with their hot popular songs, they can’t enjoy a club-like environment due to the fact that Kim HyunAh and Kwon SoHyun are members who aren’t in their 20′s yet. In this year’s Mnet 20′s Choice Awards, it is expected that the performances that are emitting a club-like sense will display a different color as the audience (in their 20′s) will stand on stage with them.”
4minute’s performance is gathering anticipation, knowing that it will be extraordinary. In the meantime, while the 20′s Choice Award votes for ‘the star with the most influence’ is heating up with excitement in its last stage, the online voting will be available until August 24th through Daum.

BEAST’s GiKwang Gave a Professional Advice on 4Minute
On the filming of 4Minute’s show on SBS E!TV “4minute All In,” Lee GiKwang, a member of the brother-group of 4Minute has shared some tips on Leader Nam Jihyun on how they can survive on the Variety World.
While both Jihyun and GiKwang were having their hair done on the hair shop, 4Minute asked for Gikwang’s advice on how to do well on variety programs. Gikwang is their “sunbae” when it comes to experience on doing variety programs.
In response to Jihyun’s request, Lee Kikwang answered, “Variety is timing” and “If a member says something funny, you have to hold back your comment for a moment.” He also emphasized that in order for you to have air time, you shouldn’t talk at the same time as the audio will be overlapped. He also added that even though there’s a funny story being told, if the audio is being overlapped, you’re high in risk of being edited out as you have to hold in your story to get air time.
Jihyun ended up being so surprised on GiKwang’s answers for she’s used to seeing his goofy and funny side. She’s so surprised that he answered her question very well that he really sounded like a professional.
