“Beautiful Girls” is the bonus track off SNSD’s first live album, ”Into the new world“. I found this on allkpop.

I saw comments for that MV on YouTube, and many users complains about an intro. I’m waiting for your opinions
BEAST’s Ki Kwang Catches Yoona Fever
Known for her exquisite beauty, SNSD’s Yoona has been known to steal the heart of many and her latest victim being BEAST’s KI Kwang.
On MBC “Hot Brothers’ during class time, Park Whee Soon asked Ki Kwang which member of SNSD he liked the most. Upon Ki Kwang’s hesitation to answering, Whee Soon asked, “Are you worried news articles will write about this?” To which Ki Kwang replied, “Yes, I’m scared. I like YoonA-ssi.”
And guess what Ki Kwang, your wishes came true!!!

Taeyeon Is NOT A Fan Of Gee

Yep that’s right!!
Even though ”Gee” became the song that would skyrocket Girls’ Generation’s popularity to whole new level, it seems not everyone was a fan of it one particular person being their own leader Taeyeon
Taeyeon hated the song at first so badly that although she took on the responsibility of being their leader she cried whenever she had to sing it!
Taeyeon revealed that she even hates their latest hit song “Hoot” and when picking a song she actually liked, she picked Run Devil Run, a song that showed a different side of the group with its dark concept
I guess deep down inside Taeyeon is a rebellious bad girl who isn’t such a big fan of the sugar and spice and everything nice songs SNSD is known for!
Nothing Gets Between Sunny & Her Alcohol, Nothing!

On a recent episode of “Happy Together” Girls’ Generation revealed their drinking habits from the heaviest drinkers to the member who does the weirdest of things while drunk
The group voted Sunny as the member who drinks the most while voting member Hyo Yeon as the being the weirdest while drunk.
Leader Taeyeon pointed at Sunny and stated “Look at Sunny’s lips” adding“Sometimes we drink and Sunny can handle it the best”.
Though Taeyoen herself turned out to be a heavy drinker too as the group voted her Yuri, SeoHyun and SooYoung as other biggest drinkers!
When discussing Hyo Yeon the members commented “When Hyo Yeon drinks, she flicks you in the forehaed”. Seo Hyun then revealing“I’m roommates with Hyo Yeon and when she drinks, she tells me all the things she never could tell me before” (more…)
Seo Hyun Is Just Like You, She Signs Autographs During Her Free Time, In College

Despite being…well a student it seems if Seo Hyun was looking forward to a normal college experience where fans would respect her privacy and treat her like anyone else she was sadly wrong.
To avoid being called rude by fans, the SNSD member sat down for an autograph session with fans where at one point she was approached by a male fan and despite her years of training Seo Hyun was clearly not trained in the “boys” department and awkwardly shaked his hand which netizens commented “Her handshake with the male student looks very awkward hehe” “Shyly handshaking kekeke“, and “Diligently attending school, it’s really good to see~”
A virtual husband, being part of Korea’s popular group, autograph sessions, awkward handshakes? Just how does sweet Seo Hyun juggle all of this while trying to be good student XD (more…)
New Outfit Regulations Don’t Apply To SNSD?

Despite new regulations that prohibit female groups from wearing revealing clothing like short shorts and belly shirts it seems none of these rules have been applied to SNSD’s “Hoot” performances
While groups like Rainbow have been told not to wear short shorts forcing them to wear long pants for their performances, Girls’ Generation has yet to receive a warning for their outfits which have included short shorts and on some occasions belly shirts.
And the reason? Officials say that the outfits didn’t “feel” sexual.
Music Core’s Kim Yoogon PD explained, “The song and the dance have a big impact on how sexual the stage feels. Groups such as Nine Muses and Rainbow put more emphasis on the dance and the visuals of the stage itself more than the song, and so they have more revealing outfits and their dance is more sexual. However, Girls’ Generations’ Hoot does not have a sexual feel at all. “
SNSD’s Sunny’s Japanese Fans wrongly spelled her name

Taiwanese Program Finds Itself In The Lions Den Against Sones & SME

A Taiwanese show “Super Lucky” has found itself in heated water after it tried to justify that Korean arists had to give “happy endings” in order to make it to the top.
Now as bad as that is things got massivly worse as the hosts Chen Ling Ling and Taiwanese idol Lin Wei Ling used SNSD as an example!!
The stars claimed, “Korean female celebrities must provide sexual favors and are forced to undergo plastic surgery” to which she pulled out an image of SNSD with a large caption stating “Sexual Favors” which gave viewers the impression that SNSD was the most representative case.
After spilling more psycho babble garbage from their mouths, SONES went on an all out rampage accusing the show of having no hard evidence to prove their case against SNSD and therefore they had no right to say such things.
Even Super Junior’s Ryeowook was massivly pissed about the issue tweeting “This old lady can’t even differentiate between poop and bean paste, she’s just going all out, wow~ even i as a man can’t handle it… tsk tsk“.
In th end the show knew it was in BIG trouble when SM Entertainment happily declared “The content of the Taiwanese broadcast program was exaggerated and false. This is a serious case of defamation against SNSD and is damaging to their image. SME will be going through the proper procedures in order to take action against the broadcast show.”
And yet NOTE this is not the first time SNSD has been criticized in some manner by the Taiwanese media which is leaving some Taiwanese SONES confused about their nation’s behavior
If Only Yoona Were A Boy…..

In netizens quest to do the weirdest of things pictures of SNSD’s Yoona’s face being photoshopped to popular male idols face has caught the attention of fans.
Yoona’s face is photoshopped to likes of SHINee’s Taemin and others, fans seeing this commented
‘This is not YoonA, it’s Taemin.’
‘It looks like the male idol photos were taken from DBSK, Big Bang, and SHINee. The pictures match really well.’
‘Is this girl a warm-hearted man?’
‘My heart is beating after seeing these photos. Yoona, do you have a younger brother?’
‘The pictures look great, YoonA.’
‘What a Hoot.’ (more…)
SME Apologizes For Sooyoung & Taeyeon’s “Inappropriate” Kiss

After ending their My Best Friend performance on Music Core, fans were outraged to see SNSD’s Taeyeon and Sooyoung’s kiss after their performance.
SM Entertainment did some damage control stating, “The song is about the friendship between the nine members. They wanted to express their friendship in a loving way.”
Despite this while some fans appreciated the moment some were clearly not happy which led into a spiral of the topic “What Guys Can Do That Girl’s Can’t” seeing the fact that artists like Super Junior have previously also kissed on stage only to receive immense positive reaction from fans.
SNSD Are Happy They Are Slowly Taking Over Japan

Only 3 months after beginning their Japanese activities Girls’ Generation has gone on to become an overnight sensation with a successful concert and two Top 5 hit singles and the girl’s recently sat down to discuss their feelings about their success
Girls’ Generation stated “We were baffled but amazed to hear such a great news in such a short time.” “But we are very pleased to have a chance letting everyone know about us. We’re very happy since it looks like we’ve made a favorable impression about K-POP.”
When commenting on the competitiveness among fellow idols in Korea Taeyeon commented “I’m not sure if there was a rivalry in Korea, but there is none inside Japan.”
When asked why they thought the group had been able to become so successful quickly Sooyoung responded“Since K-POP is being popularized around the entire Asia, I guess we were able to receive the attention in a natural way. “I think the reason is because we did not change our styles to fit in Japan but brought over our own charming points and the music itself.”
The group was then asked about their fans which experts say females make up the majority of them and how they felt about that, the girl’s answering “To be honest, we were really amazed. I guess the stylish concept was impressive in Japan” “Even though these factors can appeal Japanese women, we had many female fans in Korea when we first debuted. We also want to be loved by male fans gradually.”
Though the girl’s made it clear they wanted to make fans for the right reasons saying “We hope Girls’ Generation would be widely known for its musicality, rather then the appearance.”
The key point of the interview came when they were asked about particpating in Japan’s prestigous ‘Kohaku Uta Gassen’” which the girl’s responded saying“We really want to participate in it!”
If the girl’s continue to gain more and more popularity it seems we might finally see the day when a female K-pop group will participate at the Kohaku Uta Gassen (more…)
Taeyeon Kissed A Girl And She Loved It!
![]()
SNSD clearly must be watching too many J-pop fan service PVs or something cause the the end of SNSD’s special stage on MBC’s Music Core left netizens a little uncomfortable.
On the 30th, SNSD performed their feel-good song “My Best Friend” for their special stage on MBC’s Music Core. In a show of affection, Taeyeon and Sooyoung shared a friendly peck behind their hands, exhibiting their closeness.
But some netizens are finding this to be a little too close. Though it’s unclear if the kiss was real or only pretend, many netizens are being made uncomfortable by the display, saying “The performance was good, but it’s uncomfortable to see girls kissing.” Others don’t seem to mind that much, one unsure netizen claiming “I don’t know if they really kissed, but it’s nice to see how close they are.” (more…)

SNSD Lip Syncs At Their Concert, Fans Complain, SME Tells Them To Shut It
SNSD recently found themselves a bit in a mess as in their Thailand concert a few days ago, the media discovered the girl’s lip syncing to their songs!
According to CTi News the news station stated
“On October 17th, SNSD held their second overseas concert in Taiwan and filled the concert hall with thousands of fans. The excitement was amazing.”
“Unfortunately, when the cameras would get a close up on the members’ faces as they were performing one of their hit tracks, the music would continue without the members even putting the mics against their faces.”
Fans were a bit mixed about the whole thing with some saying “It does not seem like they were lip syncing,” but then there others who were none to pleased saying , “It’s such a waste of money. Why would you attend the concert then? Might as well just listen to the CD.”
Regardless SME has defended and praised the girl’s actions saying “They sang over 30 songs at the concert and the overall completion level of the concert was extremely high. The audience enjoyed the concert immensely, and so we’re very disappointed in having such a controversy come about.”
Later adding
There were some songs where they lip-synced due to the strong choreography, but we did this only to emphasize the dancing and to put on a better on-stage performance for the Taiwanese fans to enjoy. We’re saying this again, SNSD danced and sang live to most of their songs for both their Taiwan concerts.”
Well lip syncing in never a good thing but with 30 songs and the girl’s sturting it out in their heels, i guess they deserve a get of jail pass from the media!
